Before you can start moving up in the search engines, your website must be SEO optimized. All this means is that you’re giving the search engines what they want:
- Showing what topics or keywords your website and webpages are relevant for,
- Showing that you have a quality website that helps your visitors,
– and Showing that you’re a legitimate company that isn’t going to rip anyone off, or dissipate overnight.
The better you do this, the faster you’ll move up once you start sending your content out online. Again, we can do all of this for you, and there are a couple of things that go into it:
Keyword Research
Before you can rank on the search engines, like Google, you have to know which search terms, or keywords you want to show up for. We’ll do in depth research on your company, website, and competition, to find out what terms you’ll be able to show up for, and which ones will be the most lucrative. Without this step, your efforts to get to the top of the search engines won’t pay off.
On-Page Optimization
Search engines are picky (especially google), and they will reward and punish your site based on whether it is optimized to their liking. On-page optimization does 2 things for google.
1. Shows that your site is relevant for your target keywords
2. Makes it easy for them to see the content across your pages
When done correctly, on-page optimization will dramatically increase the ease with which you can climb the search engine ladder and get to the top of google, yahoo, and bing.
Business Directory Submissions
Business directories help prospects search for companies, and compare them based on descriptions, locations, and reviews. The biggest reason you want your company in these directories, though, is google, yahoo, and bing will show results from these directories on top of their normal search results (for local businesses). This does 2 things for you.
